99% percent of employees surveyed claimed that their mood directly impacted the quality of their work. These findings are supported by countless academic and scientific studies. Of these employees, only 20% identified a real-time strategy for improving their mood at work.
Despite this, many outdated businesses still treat their employees like pawns on a chessboard.
This provides innovative employers that recognize the importance of mood management with a built-in competitive advantage. Treat employees like more than a means to an end, and watch their performance improve.
If they were, would you even know?
Stress causes the part of our brain that manages our moods to falter. A single stress episode can impact mood for up to 2 hours, impairing decision making, communication, and general thinking processes.
Sometimes, stressed employees will act out in obvious ways, but for the most part, stress bubbles under the surface. It could be derailing your operations without you being aware of it, and is highly contagious – one employee with a bad attitude can create a domino effect of lost productivity.

Moodally founder Erika Ferszt was raised in New York City, where she graduated from The Dalton School and New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is currently based in Europe, where for 17 years she was a senior advertising executive, winning over 70 awards for her work with Ray-Ban.
